29th December was results day. Right after Desaru trip. I was telling others that I wont be able to sleep if I dun check. But strange enough, I was trying to wake myself up after the fun but exhausting desaru trip. I only woke up at 1230am, and went to check. To my surprise, the system was not laggy, and the results juz appeared in front of my eyes after a second.
1 was above expectation, some under, some juz nice.
Electives CBC811 (Forensic Science): B (eh, I think I will go for review ba) HS811 (Crime & Punishment): S (lucky!!)
Cores MS2002 (Manufacturing): B+ (alot of frens got A, but i think i deserve this cuz I really have no 把握 for this paper) MS2005 (Mechanics): A- (i was wishing for an A for this, but the paper is full of unknowns, plus quizzes is like everyone the same) MS2008 (Elec & Mag Properties): A+ (This is the above expectations I mentioned. I told myself not to waste the effort I put for my quiz =) ) MS2010 (Polymers): A- (was thinking an A also de, but I am unsure how well I did for quiz and CA2) MS2072 (Lab): B+ (Ok, I am not going to do all the reports myself alr.) HW210 (Tech Comm): B+ (Based on calculation, by right should be A- what...)
Paiseh, I was told that I aimed too high, but if not for that I may be getting lower grades? Though a bit disappointed, esp Forensic Science, but overall still ok lar. 4.25. Pulled up my cgpa to borderline, yet nt reaching 4. If review successful mayb I can get 4 alr. See how it goes.
No electives again this sem. Wonder if its suay or NTU system bias against me. 2nd time alr. Gotta start my add/dropping le...

Hello. Sorry to those who came and saw nothing new. Hence I shall hereby blog about my recent one and only ODAC trip. After not being in any ODAC committee, had been dropping my participancy in ODAC activities le. My last was ODAC BBQ?? Anyway I had went to Desaru, signed up alone, lucky was grouped with the "老教"s. Thanks to either one of my trip leaders: Weisi; Kang Hong; Siying.
Went to Changi V alone, and saw quite a number of ppl alr there waiting. Some familiar and unfamiliar faces. First thing first, Weisi's fren, Raymond (Weiqiao) came to break the ice. Yay. Got a new fren; soon after was introduced to his fren (ehm. GF), Yu Jia. Luckily we were in the same boat, as well as some familiar ppl, and a grp of 4. Had a 小插曲, that Weiqiao's passport dropped into the base of the bumboat. And all of us went to rescue by opening the wooden planks.
After an hour of boat ride, which made me a bit sea sick, we reached Msia. Paiseh, I forgot what's the name of the pier or jetty. Soon, we pass the custom, loaded up our bags, up the taxis, and left for the town to eat and collect bikes. Sad to say, I got a chui bike which decelerates fast as compared to the bikes i used to cycle on. Our first stop after around 15mins of cycling: Ostrich Farm.
Soon after around 3pm, we set off for our destination: Desaru resort 35km away. Somehow or rather, after clearing the first upslope, my view starts to darkened, and I immediately went to find a comfortable position to rest. I was feeling v dizzy, and asked to stop for a while. The feeling was kind of sian, as I missed like 10km plus worth of cycling. Up in the lorry, before hydrating myself, I was trying to rest till I was feeling better. However, it seems as if there was someone who poured water over my head as water continuously drips down from my head.
After resting, I continued riding, but met wif a small drizzle. The remaining route consists of several upslopes that I was too tired, and precautious that I stopped and pushed my bike up the slope. After several hours of "struggling", we saw the road sign pointing Desaru with a round about. It was downslope all the way and YES! we reached our destination - Damai Resort.
My first feeling was, it looked like either a hall or a army bunk from the outside. The inside was still ok but seems dirty. We had a small buffet dinner at one of the rooms. I shared the room with WeiSi, KangHong and Eugene. Cool rite? 4 person only. In the end, Yali and Siying slpt in our room cuz it was more spacious. There wasnt much entertainment at the resort, only mayb a TV to watch soccer matches. We kinda played card games till 12 plus 1 and went to deep slumber before we set off for the next day.

Counting... its about 10-11 days more to my first paper!!... yet I'd not started any revision yet. Juz finished lab report last sat... 1st time submitting it tt early as compared to those thurs, wed nites a wk later. Wed got another quiz... zzz. think gotta start soon after blogging.
Today quite happy. Got back results of tech comm. It is still not finalised yet.
Overall: ~A-/B+ (depends on which weighs more ba) Really hope is at least an A-!! Ok lar. better than effective comm i guess. Yay, a step further to pull up to 2nd uppers!! Yup. Gotta put in more effort for core already. =)

It has been about a month since I last blog here. Quite alot has happened throughout this period of time. Finally I'm very happy to have her by my side, having her into my life too.
Had quizzes before and after recess. Currently I only know my results of my electives and 2 of my core:
HS811: 10/18 =( [Gonna SU anyway] CBC811: 24/25!!! =) [Muz thank Kah Fong for lending me her past yr mid term paper, and "her" accompanying me to study =)]
MS2002: No news means Gd news MS2005: 9/10 presumely MS2008: 41/50 (With a Good for one of my solution!!) MS2010: No news means Gd news
Yup. Though I'd been lacking of ODAC activities which I'd and enjoyed for the past year, but thankfully "she" was there with me. Anyway there'll be a coming ODAC BBQ this fri. Yup. Will go and meet up my friends.
5 October was the very day for Gundam 00 Season 2!!! After waiting for half a year, ep26 continued on, and the very first episode is really very unexpectedly fantastic. The OP song is the nicest of what I'd been hearing, besides the previous Ash Like Snow by Brilliant Green. Yup, the OP is by Uverworld, who sang Gekidou of D.Grayman. Nice plot, encourage anyone readin this to go either youtube, or veoh, or tudou to watch.
